Colloquy Chorus

Build an IRC room that talks back. Paste a transcript, assign voices to each speaker, tune rate and pitch, and press play to turn the room into a tiny performance. Inspired by Jon's Text-to-speech IRC client on Mac OS X post about getting text-to-speech working in an IRC client on Mac OS X.

Transcript

Use the IRC-style format Nick: message. Every speaker gets a voice card below.

Tip: each line becomes a spoken cue. Click any transcript row to preview just that line. When speech is active, the equalizer wakes up and the current line glows.
