The Art of Iambic Pentameter
Iambic Pentameter is a poetic meter with five iambic feet per line. Each foot is an unstressed syllable followed by a stressed syllable: da-DUM.
That gives us 10 syllables per line, alternating weak-strong-weak-strong-weak-strong-weak-strong-weak-strong.
Thy code review in verse: When thou writest code reviews in iambic pentameter, even harsh criticism sounds like a playful jest. Jon wrote 42 of them once, and the tradition was thus established.
